We are Luke and Claire. We met in a youth hostel in Montreal, Canada where we lived for a few years before moving to France.
Luke is Australian and French, having left Australia over 20 years ago and Claire was born in France to a Belgian father and an English mother, who came to settle in the region over 50 years ago .
On our return to France we spent all our free time renovating old stone houses that had been abandoned for many years, to which we wanted to give new life. We now like to offer them to our guests during their stay and share with them their history and that of the bay.
We hope to welcome you very soon!
Luke also runs a mobile café in a vintage 2cv Citroën van that he has fitted out himself with everything needed to offer you delicious cold and hot drinks, all local and organic.
You can find Café de la Baie at the Grouin du Sud car park in Saint Léonard, not far from our accomodations Le Grand Hibou and La Petite Chouette. He is there throughout spring until automn and during school holidays, public holidays and weekends, even in winter when the weather permits!
